The marketing team behind Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are are trying to build the longest ‘Yowl’ in Britain.

Coming somewhere between a yelp and a scream, the public are being encouraged to release their inner Wild Thing and contribute their best yowls in special booths in shopping centres nationwide, or on the youtube channel.

They will then be judged according to different categories, including ‘Best Overall Yowl’, ‘Longest Individual Yowl’ and ‘Yowl in Most Ridiculous Costume’, with prizes up for grabs.

Where The Wild Things Are is released on December 11th.
