King of geeks Michael Cera stars in this comic book adaptation, directed by Shaun of the Dead and Spaced director Edgar Wright, about Scott Pilgrim, a slacker with a serious problem.

Charming but jobless Scott is the bass guitaris for garage band Sex Bomb-omb and the 22 year old has just met the girl of his dreams… literally. The only catch to winning the elusive Romana Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him.

As Scott gets closer to Romana he must face an increasingly vicious rogues gallery from her past – from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsome identical twins – and if he hopes to win her heart he must defeat the all before it is game over.
