Flaming Lips: well they couldn't really be photographed in the snow, could they?

The Flaming Lips have just released their incredible new video for ‘I Can Be A Frog’ featuring Karen O and taken from their twelfth studio album Embryonic.

Frontman Wayne Coyne explained the new record better than we ever could: “Double albums usually fall into a couple of categories…indulgent, egotistical or lazy… They are almost always summed up as “would have made a better single
album if only the artist would have focused themselves, edited themselves, and got down to work and trimmed the fatâ€�.. So yes…. I think all of this is possibly true of our latest creation that we are calling Embryonic. I would say that we, in course of making this record, did, on all levels, completely lose our way……and that we surrendered to every impulsive whim….and that almost every song we intended to do, initially, failed. And now we stand before you not knowing what we have done.”
