The Clash to re-release seminal album London’s Calling

The Clash: can they still rock the casbah?
Brit punks The Clash are to re-release their seminal album London’s Calling this Christmas.
Originally released in 1979, the album laid down the foundations for rebellious British punk music with a strong socio-political message. And damn, it was catchy as hell. The double-disc opus wasn’t just about punk though, it also had reggae, jazz and dubstep (before it was ‘invented’) undertones, that created a consistently interesting and vital sound.
The re-release will contain new and bonus material, but details haven’t been announced yet.
