Almighty Texan quartet (don’t hold it against them) Spoon have announced details of a new album and supporting UK dates.

The band will release their seventh studio album Transference on 25th January 2010, following 2007′s ingeniusly-titled Top 10 hit Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.

They also play the following gigs in 2010:
