Lily Allen to set up a record label

Lily Allen: maybe she'll scout at X-Factor auditions
Hot on the heels of Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen has announced plans to set up her own record label.
Although she previously told the press she had no plans to record further material herself, it seems she’ll be facilitating others with ‘talks’ that she’ll be setting up an imprint under her label home Universal.
She told 6Music: “I’m not retiring from music. I might retire from singing for a bit. I feel like maybe having a bit of a break from doing that and do something else for a while.
I love working in music. I like to help other bands so I’m thinking about – well, we’re in talks about – setting up my own label and dedicating the next couple of years to that.”
No word yet on who she’d like to sign.
