Depp: not just good at that whole pirate thing, apparently.

Johnny Depp will feature on one of the tracks from the upcoming album by British indie band Babybird, according to the band’s spokesman.

“[Depp] makes a cameo appearance on the new [Babybird] recording.” A band spokesman told MTV. “Grammy nominated producers Bruce Witkin & Ryan Dorn, were introduced to [singer Stephen] Jones by long-time fan Johnny Depp,” he added.

The actor had already been rumoured to be directing the video for their new single, which we don’t know the name of yet, when he was spotted on the video set in Hertfordshire last week.

This is England actor Stephen Graham also features in the video for the as-yet-untitled song, from Babybird’s new album Ex-Maniac, released early next year.
