Alison Goldfrapp: she says she just gets on better with birds.

Alison Goldfrapp told dedicated blog followers last night that the band have written the score to forthcoming John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.

“It’s truly amazing that they gave us the oppotunity to do this,” she wrote. “We are all really excited about going to Abbey Road studios [the studio made famous by The Beatles] soon to record the strings with the full orchestra.”

Alison also revealed that now they’ve recorded the soundtrack, it’s back to the grindstone for herself and bandmate Will Gregory as the electronic duo work on their fifth studio album.

Nowhere Boy premieres at the London Film Festival on 29th October and will be released in cinemas on 25th/26th December.
