Winehouse: "it's a real family affair"

Amy Winehouse has, in her free time, launched a brand new record label called Lioness Records. It’s actually an imprint of Island, so we’re not sure how much involvement she really has – but she is beefing up their first signing.

Of course, the first signing is Amy’s goddaughter. 13 year old Dione Bromfield will be releasing her debut album Introducing Dione Bromfield through the label, which has apparently been inspired by Motown and 2-Tone.

Amy Winehouse said: “The first time I heard Dionne sing, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing… such an amazing voice from such a young girl. I’m just so proud of her. I’m very lucky to have a record label. I’ve got all these people that I love, that are really talented – and Dionne is my number oneâ€�.

Introducing Dione Bromfield is released on 12th October via Lioness Records
