Ewan McGregor’s new animated comedy adventure film Jackboots on Whitehall began principal photography today in London.

Jackboots on Whitehall  is voiced by a stellar cast including Ewan McGregor, Rosamund Pike, Timothy Spall, Alan Cumming, Tom Wilkinson,  Richard E. Grant, Richard Griffiths,  Richard O’ Brien,  Stephen Merchant,  Pam Ferris, Hugh Fraser and Sanjeev Bhaskar amongst others.
 
The story follows a group of heroic villagers led by Chris (McGregor), a young farmhand, and his sweetheart Daisy (Pike) as they rescue Churchill (Spall) from capture, and fight against the Nazi invasion of England.

Jackboots on Whitehall is slated for 2010 release via Entertainment Motion Pictures
