Anyone know where I can get teeth as perfect as Kim's?

Acclaimed actress Kim Basinger has been cast in the role of Zac Efron’s character’s mother in the forthcoming film The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.

Based on the novel by Ben Sherwood, Zac Efron plays Charlie, a young man so regretting of his partial responsibility of the death of his brother that the weight of the guilt stops him from moving on. He ends up getting a job as a caretaker in the cemetary his brother is buried in, which helps Charlie to face his guilt, but things start to go a bit awry when Charlie falls in love.

Though directed by the same guy that did 17 Again with Efron, Burr Steers, this film – and Efron’s role – sounds a lot darker than the young actor has ever had to face before. It’ll be interesting to see whether he can pull it off, and how the relationship between Kim and Zac’s characters are affected by Charlie’s part in the death of his brother.

The Death and Life of Charlie St.Cloud has an expected late 2010 release date.
