Depp: remember what happened the last time Angelina starred in a film with such a good-looking A List Hollywood actor, eh Brad?

Johnny Depp is rumoured to have joined the ever-changing cast of The Tourist, replacing Sam Worthington.

The project was originally going to star Tom Cruise, but he left to work on Knight and Day, then Avatar actor Sam Worthington signed up but apparently he’s now scampered off too because of ‘creative differences’, which is also the reason co-star Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck has left. Angelina Jolie is playing the female lead.

We’ve left out a bunch of other actors who’ve been in and out because it’s all so damn confusing. Add all this to the fact that the director has been replaced TWICE, and you’ve got a cursed movie on your hands. Variety suggests that Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) is interested in picking up the ill-fated reins.

Will Depp and Jolie stick to it? What would they be like onscreen together? We’ll keep ya posted.
