"Gerrr'offf Dan you're signing my Twilight book!"

The world premiere of Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince was held just hours ago in London’s famous Leicester Square. The afterparties have only just begun but we’ve already got our hands on exclusive footage from the red carpet this evening.

Held in both the Empire and Odeon cinemas in Leicester Square – thanks to the huge number of guests for the event, the central London location was choc-a-bloc with fans longing to talk to or touch the stars from as early as Monday morning.

Talent that attended the premiere included the film’s stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Michael Gambon and Jim Broadbent, in addition to Helena Bonham-Carter and Julie Walters. JK Rowling, author of the novels, also attended.

Our red carpet interviews include snippets with Daniel, Rupert and JK Rowling, in between dodging the heavy rainfall above – according to fans, it has rained during every single Harry Potter London premiere so far!
