Eli Roth confirms more details on Endangered Species

Eli Roth: when he asked for a lifemate on match.com this wasn't quite what he had in mind.
Triple-threat actor, director and writer Eli Roth, most recently seen in Inglourious Basterds, has confirmed further details about his first sci-fi adventure film, Endangered Species.
Roth is writing, directing and producing the film and, probably because of this, is trying to keep pretty schtum about it. However, he revealed at Mexico’s Morella Film Festival over the weekend that he hopes to finish writing the script this month.
“I haven’t been this excited about an idea since the first Hostel,” said Roth, which he directed back in 2005.
The actor also confirmed that he has been working with his friend Quentin Tarantino on the script: “Quentin is the greatest story editor you could have, and I trust him implicitly,” he said. Tarantino produced Hostel with Roth and chose him specifically to star in Inglourious Basterds.
A third installment of Hostel is currently underway but Roth is not involved in the production. However, it’s not just Endangered Species that’s keeping him busy – he’s also just finished exorcism Cotton, which he hopes to premiere at Sundance in January. Roth is also currently developing the script for The Man with the Iron Fist, starring Wu-Tang Clan member RZA.
