Arctic Monkeys will let us listen to the new single next week

Further to our news story last week, Arctic Monkeys have announced that their new single ‘Crying Lightning’ from third album Humbug will be played for the first time on Zane Lowe’s Radio One show next Monday 6th July.
The single will then be available digitally via iTunes from midnight that night.  The physical versions of ‘Crying Lightning’ will be available on the 17th of August, a week before Humbug‘s release – more details to come, we are promised.
(Will be interesting to see how well the physical version sells given that it’s out over a month after it is available on iTunes – Ed).
The band headline Leeds and Reading Festival on 28th and 29th August respectively.
